IAD FOUNDATION FOR EDUCATION AWARDS 16 SCHOLARSHIPS

The Iowa Automobile Dealers Foundation for Education Board of Directors awarded 16 scholarships of $2,000 each to students pursuing a career in the automobile industry.  Five recipients were recently recognized by their sponsoring dealerships.

• TRACEY CLINE

Tracey is attending Western Illinois University in Moline Illinois and studying accounting.  Lujack’s Northpark Auto Plaza (Davenport) sponsored her application.  She has worked at the dealership for nine years.

• SAMUAL DAY

Samual is the recipient of the M.O. Kahn Scholarship.  In May he graduated from Newton High School and will begin the GM ASEP Program at Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny this fall.  Wes Finch Auto Plaza (Grinnell) sponsored his application.

• BRETT FELDER

Brett is the recipient of the Jim Holdiman Memorial Scholarship.  He recently graduated from Clayton Ridge High School and will attend Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo this fall.  Brown’s Sales & Leasing (Guttenberg) sponsored his application.

• TONY HEINRICHS

Tony is the recipient of the Pat and Carol Clemons Scholarship.  He is currently attending Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids.  Randy Kuehl Honda (Cedar Rapids) sponsored his application.

• ALEX MERRITT

Alex attends Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids.  Lynch Ford Chevrolet (Mount Vernon) sponsored his application.  This is the second continuous year that Alex received a Foundation Scholarship.
